After ordering please contact us to organise a suitable delivery date that is mutually agreeable. If you would like delivery the next day please let us know as soon as possible. It takes a long time to pack livestock orders properly so we need as much notice as possible, we can only ship a certain amount each of orders per day. Please be aware sometimes this is not possible in very busy periods.
Delivery Charges and Zones
Our standard delivery charge is £10.99. We use a combination of Royal Mail and courier options for delivery depending on the size of the order. This covers most of the UK. It excludes Scottish Highlands, Northern Ireland and any Islands. Also certain AB and DD postcodes have now been made unavailable to ship with courier as they are not guaranteed next day service. For Highlands, Northern Ireland, Islands and the following postcodes please use the Royal Mail Special option which is £15.00. However, this only qualifies for upto 2kgs ( for eg 5 turbos, cleaner shrimp. Fire shrimp, emerald crab and small frag). For larger orders please contact us first.
Postcodes AB30, 33, 34, 35, 36, 42, 43, 44, 45, 53, 54, 55, 56 and DD8 and 9.
All orders will be packed in polythene bags (minimum two bags) and corners taped. Bags are then placed in a polystyrene box and fully supported. At least one heat pack will be used in the box, during cold spells two or more heat packs will be used.
Livestock DOA Policy
In the event any of your livestock arrives dead or poor condition, we will require photographic evidence the same day that you take delivery of the order before 6pm. Please email us photos of your livestock in their bags as we cannot guarantee any livestock once it is placed in your aquarium. After reviewing the case we will then offer a refund or exchange for your livestock where we feel appropriate.
Please note that Saturday deliveries are not currently available. Courier companies do not class Saturdays as standard working days and carry very large surcharges.
We ship for delivery on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.
